BWT Pool and Park was formed in 1970 when the LandTek developers for Beechwood Trails deeded the park, pool and stables to the non-profit corporation which oversees the land and facilities today. Unlike many other developments which have assessments and have areas which are community owned, BWT P&P is more like a private club which relies on membership dues and volunteers to stay in existence.
